Idol Hands.

This piece came about because of things that were happening in my life due to a stronghold of money.

It was all about money for me, hoping that it would bring me some overwhelming happiness, but the truth is for me, that happiness was short-lived.
I find life is it's own wealth.
I believe many can relate to this piece.

The Godfather movie was a big inspiration in creating this work.
So much blood is shed in that movie purely due to money and it leads to nothing but heartache and misery.

The story of Judas blinded by 30 pieces of sliver which leads to his betrayal of Christ was also something that gave me pause for thought.

Who is the puppet master pulling your strings?
That's what I am trying to capture in this piece.
Control, Deceitfulness, Evil, Darkness.

There's nothing wrong with money, it's the greed of it, and always wanting more, and that can lead to some dark decisions in life. It can become your idol, your puppet master.
