Flesh

Flesh.

The inspiration to create this artwork comes from my visit to Hiroshima in Japan. This visit left me in shock and awe and disbelief into what we as humans are capable of doing to each other.

I began to think about how we are all capable of destroying others and ourselves, and I call this the work of the Flesh. Its like a self destruct button where we know the outcome will just destroy us and others around us but we do it anyway knowing no good will come of it.
I have found myself in this situation many times, but these days I try to take a different approach, rather then letting my Flesh get the better of me I turn to God.

In this Artwork I am trying to capture the chaos and disorder we allow our lives to go through knowing that we are responsible for it most of the time. We end up being the architects of our own downfall.
